ELE Students at the Davis Decathlon

Yesterday a select group of 4th-6th graders represented E. Layton Elementary at the Annual DSD Decathlon held at Syracuse High School. The annual decathlon was hosted by the district's Healthy Lifestyles team and is designed to encourage and educate the students about health, wellness and the importance of keeping their bodies moving. Some of the events the students participated in included cup stacking, broad jump, basketball dribble, accuracy throw, sit ups, push ups, Sit ‘n Reach, shuttle run, 200 meter dash, and jump rope.

East Layton's 4th Grade team won a 2nd place medal and our 5th grade team won a 4th place medal. Congratulations, Bobcats!
