We are thrilled to announce that our annual Halloween Costume Parade is back for the first time in years! We are so excited to bring this beloved tradition back to life and cannot wait to celebrate with our students and families.
To help us keep this event fun, safe, and organized for everyone, please review the schedule and community expectations below:
🗓️ Event Details & Setup
Date & Time: Friday, October 30th at 9:15 AM.
Location: The school playground blacktop.
Seating: Parents and spectators will sit around the outer perimeter of the blacktop.
What to bring: You are welcome to bring a lawn chair for your comfort!
The Parade: Students will parade safely inside the designated perimeter loop so everyone gets a great view.
🎃 Costume Expectations & Guidelines
To ensure the parade is a positive experience for our entire school community, we ask that all costumes follow our core expectations:
Be Respectful: Costumes must be culturally sensitive. No racial, cultural, or religious stereotypes are permitted. Minimal makeup is allowed, but it must not alter or disguise a student's natural skin color.
Be Responsible: Remember that students from a wide range of ages (including our youngest learners) will be watching. All costumes must be entirely family-friendly and free of gore or frightening themes.
Be Safe: For safety and clear identification, no masks are allowed. Additionally, no weapons—real or pretend (including toy swords, knives, or blasters)—are permitted on school grounds.
Thank you for your support in making this a safe, inclusive, and memorable day for our students. We can't wait to see you around the blacktop! 👻
