Championship Martial Arts is hosting an exciting, 4-day Character Development Course right here at school! This program is designed to teach students valuable life skills through engaging, high-energy activities.

Early literacy builds the foundation for academic achievement.
Davis School District’s Family Literacy Nights help families support children’s reading and learning from the earliest years through elementary school. Families will participate in hands-on activities, learn practical strategies and choose four sessions tailored to their child’s age, grade and learning needs.
Sessions are designed for children ages 0–3, ages 3–5, kindergarten and first grade, and second and third grade. Sessions will be offered in English and Spanish, with interpretation available in additional languages.

📸 Wednesday: Picture Retakes! If your child missed picture day or needs a do-over, this is the day. Please remind them to bring their original picture packet if they are getting retakes.
🏢 Thursday: JA City (5th Grade Only)! Our 5th graders are heading out for an exciting, hands-on day of learning how a city runs. Please ensure your 5th grader arrives on time and is ready to go!

The annual Yearbook Cover Contest is officially underway, and we want to see your student’s creative artwork! This year’s theme is: "I Have the Magic in Me."✨
Contest Rules & Guidelines:
• Must incorporate the theme "I Have the Magic in Me."
• Must be drawn on a vertical (portrait) 8.5" x 11" sheet of paper. Please do not use lined paper. Protect your artwork! Keep it in a folder or manila envelope so it doesn't get wrinkled or torn.
• Use bold, bright colors. Use markers, crayons, or colored pencils. Hand-drawn art only (no digital art or tracing). Fill the page nicely without leaving a blank white background.
• Write the student's full name, grade, and teacher's name clearly in pencil on the back of the artwork (please do not write names on the front).
• Turn all finished artwork into the school office by October 23rd.
Need an entry sheet? Stop by the front office to pick one up if your student is ready to participate. We cannot wait to see the magic your young artists create! 🎨✨
On Friday, October 23, our elementary students will have the opportunity to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy by sharing their voices and powerful words. This inspiring event helps our students build public speaking skills, grow in confidence, and celebrate unity and history.
If your student is interested in participating, please have them stop by the office for the form and rating rubric. We can't wait to see our young leaders shine! ✨
